$ 10,000 reward! - Do you need some money, Alaskans?
As has already been previously mentioned several days ago in our comments, Professor Brad Scharlott, who made headlines earlier this year with the publication of his research paper regarding Sarah Palin's pregnancy with Trig, is going to offer the amount of $ 10,000 to anyone who can prove that Sarah Palin was in fact pregnant with Trig. Our very own Leadfoot came up with this idea, and Professor Scharlott then put forward a mock-up advert which was then discussed and improved on in discussions with the Politicalgates research team behind the scenes. Leadfoot also drafted the press release which was then sent out today to various media outlets and blogs:
For immediate release:
$10,000 REWARD OFFERED FOR PROOF SARAH PALIN GAVE BIRTH TO SON TRIG
NEWPORT, KY (September 16, 2011) – A journalism professor at Northern Kentucky University has posted a flier on the Internet offering a $10,000 reward to anybody who can provide verifiable and irrefutable proof that Sarah Palin is the birth mother of Trig, the boy she claims she delivered on April 18, 2008.
The flier shows two pictures of Palin, one taken 23 days before the alleged birth, the other five days before April 18, 2008. The pictures show a seemingly impossible change in the progress of Palin's pregnancy in that 18-day span.
Over the last three years, numerous Internet sites have made the argument that Palin must have faked the birth. Circumstantial evidence supporting their theory includes the fact that no hospital has verified the birth, Palin waited until her seventh month to claim she was pregnant and often appeared remarkably slender for a 44-year-old mother having her fifth child, and Palin has never released Trig's birth certificate. Palin supporters have said that pictures can be deceiving, and that it is absurd to think she faked the birth.
Brad Scharlott, an associate professor of journalism, has read rumors online for years, and is now offering the $10,000 reward because he wishes to find the truth about the controversy.
"The circumstantial evidence that Sarah Palin pulled off a pregnancy hoax, possibly to enhance her political standing, seems overwhelming," Scharlott said, but added that he is still open to the possibility that Palin did give birth to Trig, and would gladly give the reward money to anyone who provides proof.
The flier says that acceptable proof would include, but not necessarily be limited to, medical records, a birth certificate, or notarized statements from hospital personnel involved in the delivery.
For full details on how to claim the reward, the flier can be found at Scribd.com: http://www.scribd.com/doc/65089616/10-000-reward-poster or seen below.
Do you believe that anyone will be able to claim the money?
We know that nobody will be able to claim it, because we have known for a long time that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy. It's not a rumour, it's not a belief, it's a fact.

UPDATE:
Professor Brad Scharlott left the following comment:
A BIG round of applause for Leadfoot! A very inspired idea on her part.
We first tossed around placing an ad with the same content in an AK newspaper, but there was no guarantee a paper would take it, plus even a small ad would cost $500 plus. So the Heavyfoot-in-LA suggested just placing it online and sending out a news release. We came up with language that hopefully will induce media to pick the story up. Writing a good PR release an art form – you have to appear unbiased while at the same time tilting toward your team – and Leadfoot is a master of her craft.
So kudos all around to everyone who helped (many commented on early drafts). And let's get the word out on this challenge! I have $10,000 smackeroos for the first person to send me the proof I want – maybe Kathleen has Trig's birth certificate squirreled away.
UPDATE 2:
There are two comments I would like to add to the post.
FIRST: "THE BIG LIE"
Virtually everything connected with Sarah Palin is drama and madness.
Presidential material, huh?
It probably all started when she was finally rejected by Curtis Menard Jr. - just a guess.
The truth about Sarah Palin is basically impossible to believe (especially for large parts of the MSM, it seems).
Her whole adult life is just one big fat lie (probably a large part of her life as a child, as she remembers it today and wrote about it, as well).
But the common people don't believe those "big lies." They only believe "small lies." So the really big liars can get away with their lies.
Some other reprehensible person in history knew that as well, and openly wrote about it - already in 1925. You know who. I might write a more detailed post about that at a later point, because it's an incredibly fascinating - and still very relevant - topic.

SECOND: THE "COMING OUT" OF JOE MCGINNISS
It's great news that Joe McGinniss apparently "comes out" and openly questions Sarah Palin's pregnancy in his book. Only very, very few journalists and authors have been brave enough to do such a thing in public.
How many years have we been waiting for such a major event? Too many years!
I see a big light at the end of the tunnel.
Joe McGinniss is courageous. Sarah Palin's pregnancy is still a taboo-subject, not to be touched by almost all media outlets in the mainstream, not to be questioned.

From the (appaling!) book review of "The Rogue" by the Washington Post:
+++He (Joe McGinniss) leaves no ambiguity, though, about the import of what he calls “the unanswered question” of Trig, Palin’s son with Down syndrome, who was born in 2008. Untroubled by a lack of actual evidence, a small but unbowed band of Palin critics has long wondered aloud whether she is the boy’s biological mother. Like all conspiracists, they insist that they are only asking questions that could be readily answered by nothing more out of the ordinary than a full data dump of Palin’s obstetrical records. McGinniss approvingly quotes blogger Andrew Sullivan, who has insisted that “if Palin has lied about [giving birth to Trig], it’s themost staggering, appalling deception in the history of American politics.”
What exactly McGinniss thinks is “unanswered” about Trig’s birth is unclear, since he avers that, unlike Sullivan and other gynecological obsessives, he absolutely believes Palin is Trig’s mother: “It seemed outlandish, even indecent, to suppose that Trig might not be Sarah’s child. I did not, and I don’t.” And then he proceeds to devote more than a dozen pages to rehashing every conceivable theory — and some inconceivable ones — that she faked the birth.
