In bizarre interviews, Sarah Palin talks to Ted Cruz and Jeb Bush and praises both of them, while appearing like a parody of herself

By Patrick

Kathleen and I needed to take a little "time-out" from this madhouse that is American politics in 2015, but the people who are mad are not going away, unfortunately. OK, when I talk about politics, I mean "Republican" politics, but this really goes without saying. The Democrats seem to be the only ones who are not completely losing their mind, and hopefully this won't change.

Well, I know that we are "privileged" over here in Europe, as we do not have to see the faces of all these mad and stupid people on TV all the time. I can barely imagine what all of you are going through right now, with insanity being broadcast on a daily basis.

So let's see what the crazy people are doing these days.

It's interesting, because now people who at first appeared less crazy are now jumping on the crazy train as well. Take Jeb Bush, for example. He is apparently a "moderate", but that was yesterday, because now he is sucking up to the teabaggers, big time!

Jeb Bush has no hesitation to "go on air" with Sarah Palin at her new home, the new conservative libertarian cable news channel "One America News Network", and there he enthusiastically professes his love for Sarah Palin, the Tea Party and the bible. Sarah "Talibunny" Palin then returns the favor and praises Jeb Bush, as if she had never done anything else. If haven't checked, but I am pretty sure that the heads of the Palinbots were exploding. "RINO" Sarah strikes again.

Watch:

Sarah makes the impression of a deranged crazy-person during her new appearances on "OAN" and clearly is not helping the cause. If anyone can bring down the right-wing, it is Sarah Palin. At this point in time, she really should be funded by Democrats, as there is nothing more helpful for Democrats than good old Sarah. She simply is the personification of a crazed, uneducated and ignorant teabagger, and she is universally disliked.

Who started this "One America News Network" anyway? It turns out that some rich "libertarians" had too much money and were under the impression that all TV-networks are "left", apart from Fox News. The Wall Street Journal reported in March 2013:

Fox News may soon have some company on the cable news dial.

The San Diego family behind niche cable channel WealthTV is partnering with the Washington Times to launch a 24-hour conservative-leaning cable news network. To be called One America News network, the channel will be a combination of straight news reporting and conservative political talk shows, according to Charles Herring, president of One America News.

It plans to launch on July 1, with expected distribution between 10 million and 15 million homes, Mr. Herring said, well short of full distribution of more than 90 million homes.

Mr. Herring said that his family's company, Herring Broadcasting, is investing "hundreds of millions" of dollars into the new channel, which he says will provide a much-needed alternative in the current news landscape.

"If you take a typical channel on any of the leading video providers, and you try to determine which ones are providing credible news, you get about eight or nine news channels that skew to the left—for example, MSNBC skews left, and some argue that CNN skews left," Mr. Herring said. "There is only one that skews right on political talk shows, and that's Fox. We are going to open up another front and give independents, libertarians and all kind of different voices under the conservative umbrella an opportunity to express themselves."

Therefore all the people who might think that Fox News is too liberal now have a home where the crazy runs free.

Just before this memorable conversation with Jeb Bush, Zombie-Sarah interviewed Ted Cruz, who promised to turn the USA into a fundamentalist Christian nation, where you are free to hate anyone, as long as your God demands it. Unfortunately, Ted Cruz does not go into more detail, as it would be quite interesting to know whether the "Cruz-style religious freedom" will also be apply for Muslims and other religions. Also, Planned Parenthood is the root of all evil. Another very memorable interview.

Watch:

Crazy Sarah also interviewed "The Donald", and according to Donald Trump, the USA is a shitty hellhole full of collapsing bridges and raping immigrants, but don't worry, he will make America great again - with spending hundreds of billions of dollars for new wars and a wall to Mexico.

"Yahoo Politics" published a good summary about this interview.

Watch:

I find this truly fascinating. Jeb, Ted and Donald all suck up to Sarah, one of the most despised "politicians" in America, and world-famous idiot. Well, now she is apparently not a politician any more, but found a new medium to prove her ignorance. I mean, you simply cannot make it up!

All while her super-Christian daughter Bristol is expecting her "second" child out of wedlock, and with an unknown father. As I said in the comments several times in the past, we can say with great confidence that Dakota Meyer is not the father of the baby. However, the Palins now have many years of experience in covering up private secrets and scandals, therefore they surely will figure something out, although this might be a tough one even for their standards!

By the way, this will be the "First Lady" of the new "great" America with bible-lover Donald Trump as King Donald I:

These are not even the fully nude photos! These can be found by googling as well.

In a hilarious example of right-wing infighting, Glenn Beck accused Melania Trump of being a "lesbian porn star", which officially has to be called an "unconfirmed rumor", I guess...but if you want to get it confirmed, well, you just will have to find the clip on the internet, LOL!

Some right-wing websites were really angry, haha:

But don't worry, it all will be GREAT with Donald King of America.

I think Sarah Palin should keep on talking. Nobody else does a bigger disservice to Republicans than the woman from Wasilla who simply does not know when to stop.

Especially the interview with Jeb Bush is a keeper.

By the way, if you have any right-wing relatives or friends and would like to present them with some hard facts in order to counter their ignorance, look at this new article at Mother Jones:

Kevin Drum helpfully explains a few things. It is doubtful however that Sarah will listen, as "reality" and "truth" was never her strong suit:

Huh. I almost forgot about the Palin-Trump lollapalooza. But it's all on YouTube, and it was pretty boring. Palin's word salad was subpar and it was just the same-old-same-old from Trump. My favorite part was this bit from Palin:

So you get hit with these gotchas, like most conservatives do. For instance, asking what's your favorite Bible verse. And I listen to that going, what? Do they ask Hillary that?

Indeed they do! On August 27, 2007, in a nationally televised debate, Tim Russert asked every Democrat on the stage to share their favorite Bible verse: (...)

In conclusion, I cannot wait for the GOP-primaries to finally begin, but unfortunately, they only start on February 1, 2016. Therefore, it will be a long wait.

Also, there is more time for Sarah to mess things up. The "Palin-curse" is still alive and kicking.

In the meantime, the GOP can think about more strategies in order to appease the crazies. They might just start to embrace them, if nothing else works. When Glenn Beck is the voice of reason, you know the GOP is trouble.

Donald Trump on "Meet the Press" with Chuck Todd: The world is so unfair to Americans, but now comes the Donald to fix everything, and he will bully the world into submission

By Patrick

OK, I just listened to the extensive new interview with Donald Trump on "Meet the Press", where Trump talks to Chuck Todd, and the interview is truly revealing. However, it is not really worth to get into too much detail, because the pattern is always the same: It's Donald Trump and the USA against the rest of the world. Also, he is still a Obama-birther, can you believe it.

Chuck Todd was doing a pretty good job during this interview in my opinion, but he avoided to talk about a few "hot issues" in detail, for example about the Fox News controversy and the "Mexico sends us their rapists" controversy.

Basically, if you want to turn the USA into a fascist nation, then Donald Trump has to be your first choice. He wants to take on everybody, friends and foes alike: Iran, Asia in general, China, ISIS, Europe (Germany in particular), Russia, Saudi Arabia, Mexico - and these are only the countries he actually names in the interview!

There seems to be no country in the world that the Donald does actually like. Also, according to Trump, the world should reimburse the USA, for all the great things the country is doing all over the world.

This interview is truly shocking. It does not bother Trump at all that his explanations are full of contradictions, and devoid of any knowledge about world affairs. The only thing that the Donald knows is that virtually all other countries in the world are out to get the USA and want to do harm to the USA, for selfish reasons, of course. According to him, lots of other countries steal jobs from Americans, and of course he will take the jobs back to the USA (how he will do this, remains his secret).

Trump also wants to invade Iraq again in order to fight ISIS, and of course it would totally pay for itself, because the USA will pay this new war with the oil they will...well, loot, after the invasion. Trump is not bothered by the fact that this concept already failed once before.

Also, what will the people of Iraq will think about the fact that the USA wants to claim their oil? Trump does not care, as he does not care about anyone else, apart from Donald Trump. The world of Donald Trump is a very simple world.

So, if you want a big American bully for President, then Donald Trump is your first choice.

He also blatantly lied about Ronald Reagan in this interview, in order to paint himself as a great Republican, saying the he liked Ronald Reagan, and Ronald Reagan liked him.

I really wished that a journalist would confront Donald Trump one day with this excerpt from his 1989 book "The Art of the Deal", in which Trump compared Ronald Reagan to a con man and ridiculed him, stating that seven years after Reagan's election "people are beginning to question whether there's anything beneath that smile."

On abortion, women won't have much too smile about under a Trump administration, as their right to choose would virtually vanish, but do not despair, because at least Trump knows "the importance of women." In Trumps world, they surely are incredibly important, because from time to time every man needs to stick in his dick into something, and women come in handy in this respect, especially since they also look very nice and can be shown around (I hope I do not need a SNARK sign here...).

What else was there? Yes, Donald Trump doesn't like NATO either, and these lazy Germans are not leading regarding the Russia/Ukraine conflict, according to Trump. Apparently, he does either not know or not care about the fact that the Germans and other European nations were in fact leading in brokering a peace deal in February 2015, in order to avoid an European war, but I guess that in Donald Trump's world, peace is simply a very boring thing. We want the fireworks, and the total submission of the enemy! USA, USA, TRUMP, TRUMP!

Watch the interview:

+++

BONUS:

NBC also has a "bonus-clip" with Chuck Todd on Donald Trump's place, in which Trump explains his insane "immigration plan."

In case you didn't know yet, "Mexico should pay for the wall."

Also, all the illegal immigrants "have to go."

So, apart from taking on virtually the whole world, Donald Trump will also deport 13 million people from the USA.

Sounds like a winning concept, for sure.

UPDATE:

Just a few days ago, the BBC conducted an excellent interview with famous British TV-presenter Selina Scott, and her shocking experiences with Donald Trump. This clip is an absolute must-see, and unfortunately only received little attention so far.

Watch the clip:

More background:

A scary misogynist who sees nothing wrong in stalking somebody/anybody with his ridiculous opinions of himself. As Scott says in today's Sunday Times, Megyn Kelly got off lightly compared to her - she says he has an ego "the size of the Empire State" and "is as ridiculous as his thatch of hair". BBC TV presenter Selina Scott has had problems with Donald Trump for a long time - since 1995.

It all began when Ms Scott broadcast what she calls a "realistic" profile of the business tycoon, who is now running for US president. (This DVD was sent anonymously to councillors in Aberdeenshire to warn them what they were getting into if Trump were to purchase land for a golf course - which they ignored). He then started sending her letters rubbishing her looks and questioning her morality, and still brought it up years later, she told the BBC's Newsnight.

Donald Trump, Comedy Edition

By Patrick

Donald Trump is a man who will never ever become US President, as he is too unreal for this world. But he is just perfect for the world of comedy. Just like it was the case in 2008 with Sarah Palin, cartoonists and comedians all over the USA surely are overjoyed.

The Donald is like an SNL-skit coming to life, which is very surreal, because there were SNL-skits about him made already years ago, which were "spot-on", and are actually quite difficult to distinguish from reality. I suggest that some of these old SNL-clips should be shown to a group of his fans (without the laugh-track), telling them that this is a recording of Donald Trump from 2004, and at least half of them will certainly believe it. For the record: His fans have to be some of the most deluded people on the planet (VIDEO).

His fans immediately remind me of Sarah Palin's fans back in the old days. I strongly believe that we would have seen the same spectacle if Sarah had run for President in 2012. A large group of die-hard fans, you could say "cultists", would have supported her. It is so easy to forget these days how many people supported the Talibunny from Wasilla back then.

I guess she initially would have also received about 20-25% of the Republican vote in the primaries in 2011/2012. Her highly divisive rhetoric, which was her "trademark" back then, would have also further incited the right-wing crazies all over the country. The consequences could have been terrible.

Thankfully, the USA did not have to witness this awful spectacle back in 2012, as Sarah's many secrets caught up with her, and prevented her from running.

Back in the old days, comedy proved to be poison for Sarah Palin. The famous SNL-skits like this one exposed her so brutally that people still remember these great clips up until today.

Comedy has already been brutal for the "larger-than-life" bully Donald Trump as well. He does not seem to be as bothered by the comedy as Sarah Palin was back then, but the comedy is still hilarious (he seems to be much more bothered by being asked critical questions by women, though).

So let's take first a look at two brilliant older SNL-skits featuring Donald Trump. Unfortunately, they are not available for US-viewers on Youtube, which I find incredibly annoying, as they would certainly receive much more exposure in the USA, if they could be easily found and shared on Youtube. Only non-US viewers can watch them on Youtube (on the official SNL-youtube channel!), but US citizens have to go to the NBC-website, which I think is a really bad solution.

Clip 1 (from 2004) - Donald Trump has suggestions for NBC:

Non-US viewers can watch the clip on Youtube HERE.

+++

Clip 2 (from 2007) - Donald vs. Rosie:

Again, non-US viewers can watch the clip on Youtube HERE.

+++

Now to the more recent comedy. This one is not featuring the Donald himself, but it is still very funny:

+++

The Simpsons meet the Donald:

+++

South Park meets the Donald:

+++

Jimmy Fallon was fantastic in the following one - and I swear that was Obama's voice, LOL!

+++

This one features Donald as well as the rest of the GOP clown car, and it is amazing:

+++

The following is not a video-clip, but the Donald-Trump-insult-generator on "TIME" is simply wonderful!

Try it! You will get results like this one, lots of them, and then you can screenshot them and send them to friends and family - it's fun for everyone:

+++

Finally, in case you would like to get back to reality, watch this clip - and try to find the difference to the comedy:

No, Donald, you definitely won't become US President, but you certainly are the patron saint for the comedians all over the country! You replaced Sarah Palin just in time.

UDPATE:

I found another hilarious old SNL-skit, this time from 2011, and this one definitely needs to be included as well - Donald Trump visits "On the Record" with Greta Van Susteren:

Again, non-US viewers can watch it on Youtube HERE.

UPDATE 2:

Somehow this still falls under the "comedy" category, because many right-wingers are now coming out against the Donald, with all guns blazing, and it is simply EPIC how they describe Donald Trump. It is also extremely close of how somebody could describe Sarah Palin.

The conservative mainstream "National Review" published an article under the great headline "Trump the Teenage Bully" and wrote (excerpt):

But Trump is like a rampaging high-school student with no adult chaperone around who can take away his Twitter keys. His campaign staff has complained that he refuses to read briefing books and said that he took pride in not preparing for last Thursday’s debate. A Trump business associate told me that his long-time secretary once confessed that she couldn’t possibly bring him a piece of bad news. “I’ve kept my job this long by knowing I must never bring him bad news,” she reportedly said. That’s a clue to extreme narcissism.

So let’s recap. Someone who is so thin-skinned that he can’t move on from a slight. Someone who refuses to accept reality and then act accordingly. Someone who has a form of attention-deficit disorder, in which he constantly craves attention. Someone who is constantly boasting about past glories, like an ROTC officer describing his last weekend-warrior experience. Someone who can’t control his language and constantly belittles and bullies everyone he doesn’t like by flinging insults such as “loser,” “stupid,” “worthless,” “fat,” and “slob.”

Yes, Donald Trump is certainly guilty of making these ugly remarks.

In addition, right-winger Matt Walsh slammed Donald Trump and his supporters at "The Blaze":

The question is whether we should expect more of our fellow citizens. Am I right to be angry at a person for supporting a vulgar, bungling thug based solely on the logic that anyone who opposes him must be a “liberal” and a “cuckservative”? Am I out of line for blaming a man who justifies his love for a crass, self-obsessed bully by insisting that the bully is “politically incorrect,” and that somehow “political incorrectness” ought to be the most important item on a presidential candidate’s resume? If I am out of line, if I’m wrong in my anger, then I suppose these people are either right or shouldn’t be held accountable for their own actions.

But we know they certainly are not within a 10,000 mile radius of being right, and we know they are human beings with free will. They are wrong, they’ve chosen to be wrong, and it’s really not OK to be wrong about this. This is my country too, and I’m sick of watching it get slowly stabbed to death by people who can’t be bothered to use their heads.

Trump fans: You’re better than this. Notice I have not called you stupid. I don’t think you’re stupid. Stupid people can’t help themselves, but you can. I think you’re being intellectually lazy and insincere. I think you’re enamored with personality. I think you like being entertained. I think you’re treating the fate of my country like a toy to be played with by a giant child in a luxurious toupee. I think you’re in deep now, and perhaps you don’t want to admit you were wrong. I think you know, deep down, that Trump is not a good or brave man, and he certainly is not presidential material. I also think you know that Trump could never beat Hillary Clinton, which is why the polls have him losing in a landslide to every Democratic candidate.

I think you know better. I think you’re too smart for this. And that’s why I’m angry with you. You are playing games, and now is not the time.

Get your act together. Admit you were wrong and let’s move on. When this is all said and done, and Trump is sent back to his layer to live out the rest of his days in agonizing obscurity, I will be perfectly fine with pretending all of this never happened. I won’t bring it up again if you don’t.

Will Donald Trump survive this onslaught? This is extremely unlikely. Maybe he should have bought or started some media outlets in the past. He might be a huge loudmouth, but he doesn't control the message. With large parts of the conservative media now firmly against him, his downfall is inevitable. In the long-run, the Donald is not smart enough to survive, and he will end up just being a circus act.

UPDATE August 11, 2015:

Jimmy Fallon made a skit about the "Trump vs. Kelly" controversy, and it is excellent:

Donald Trump wants his fingers on the nuclear trigger, but being questioned by a woman already drives him to the brink of a nervous breakdown: Megyn Kelly "Had Blood Coming Out of Her Eyes, Blood Coming Out of Her Wherever" (CLIP) - UPDATES

By Patrick

Apparently God thinks that the USA has not suffered enough already, because God invented the Donald. Watching him feels like watching scenes from a really bad political comedy, but the Donald is real.

Now the Donald struck again, and it appears that he will never get over the fact that Megyn Kelly asked him some straight questions.

The Donald apparently has a huge problem with women. Well, he does seem to make some exceptions:

In any case, the Donald today managed to insult all women on the planet in one sentence, which is quite an achievement!

Watch:

OK, then....ugh.

This saga won't have a happy ending. I think the Donald will end up crying, once this is all over.

But we won't feel sad. His loss will be a win for humanity.

UPDATE 4:

Salon posted an excellent article about why the US society deserves Donald Trump:

Excerpt:
While Trump is a great embarrassment to America, and is about as presidential as Archie Bunker, he is also a reflection of the current state of our culture — a culture that embraces mindless materialism and entertainment, while shunning deep thought and intellectualism. It is a culture that has been ransacked by consumerism and corporatization, where our universities have been transformed into careerist trade schools rather than places where young people go to broaden their horizons and learn how to question things, including authority.

Today, the most popular major in college is business, a field that not too long ago required little to no education, and where the wealthiest individuals were successful because of their amoral and cutthroat tendencies, not because of what they learned at the university. The mind-set that the majority of young people are sent off to college equipped with is “How much money will this education allow me to make,” and “Will this major get me a job right out of college.” At the same time, colleges have become completely corporatized. Tuitions have skyrocketed over the past decade (enslaving low-income students with debt), and at the “elite” schools, this is reflected by the proportion of rich to poor students: 74 percent come from the top quarter of the socioeconomic scale, while only 3 percent come from the bottom quarter. Meanwhile, “administrators” have become as well paid as corporate executives, while tenure for professors is in decline.

No longer are students taught to question systems or authority, but to become worker bees for the corporate state economy. (Who knows, maybe some will be lucky enough to work for Trump!) Moral values and autonomous thinking are no longer expected to be promoted in higher education. This, of course, goes way beyond modern universities, which are just features of the corporate state.

(...)

The rapid rise of Trump in American politics is a sign of our decaying public consciousness, where being filthy rich gives people the ability to do what they want, when they want, even when they very clearly have no idea what they’re talking about. Trump has become a political sensation because he reflects what success has become in modern America — namely, completely monetized — and even though the statistics reveal that growing up in the middle and lower classes severely restricts one’s chances of becoming wealthy, the idea that you can go to college, and take on hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, and then become successful like Donald, remains alive and well.

When voters are asked to explain why they like Donald Trump, the term "low-information voter" appears to be a huge understatement. These people apparently don't really know anything. This is exactly why in the 1920s and 1930s the fascists came to power in Europe, because they were supported by very nationalistic and often very naive citizens.

I don't want to paint things too dark here, but my impression is that a significant part of the US population is ready for an authoritarian ruler, and would also be very happy to support such a person.

The people in the following clip desperately search for their savior, who then applies the "easy solutions" to all the real or imagined problems, and they project everything they like into Trump.

Open Post - Discuss the first GOP Debate, Hosted by Fox News - BONUS: Play Wingnut-Bingo!

It's getting crowded on the clown car so it's time to toss some passengers out to make some room. Time then for a Fox News sponsored first debate between the top ten (according to Fox polls) candidates.

The participating candidates in order of percentage votes are:

Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Chris Christie and John Kasich will all participate in the debate so it is bound to get noisy. Possibly nasty too as the top ten step up to their podiums to state their claim to the throne at the expense of their fellow GOP contenders.

This will be Donald Trumps first face to face debate with other GOP candidates so it is next to impossible to predict how he will handle this type of situation. We can assume that as the front runner he will go in feeling confident that his strategy of destructive politics has been a good tactic for him so far therefore  we might see fireworks. He's certainly not held back his brash approach to politics since he announced his intention to run and if placed in a hard place or if he feels under attack from the moderators or fellow candidates he is likely to implode. If he doesn't lose his temper it will be because he has been advised to show a better more presidential side of himself. Not that Trump takes advice from anyone but himself. It's safe to say that all eyes will be on him.

The debate can be viewed tonight at 9.00 pm EST on Fox News

Also, follow the tweets about the debate here! This should be a lot of fun as well.

Please join us here at Politicalgates to live blog the event, and do not forget to play Wingnut-Bingo! You could also combine this with a nice uplifting drinking-game!

Revealed now: The scathing documentary about Donald Trump that he didn't want the world to see

New York Magazine from September 4, 1989

By Patrick

This is officially our first major post about Donald Trump. It took us a long time, I know. After all, for far too many Americans, Donald Trump is the "real deal" these days. If you read the comments on articles about Trump, it is more than obvious that he already developed a real "cult-following" among right-wingers, and one has to wonder where this will all end. He is the new Sarah Palin, just louder, richer, and without the irritating speech impediments.

Donald Trump also has a rich history. This now comes to light again where suddenly an "old" documentary about Donald Trump is being "re-published", which is called "Trump: What's the deal?"

However, the documentary has actually never been published in the first place, as Donald Trump threatened absolutely everyone involved back then. This was enough to suppress the film, although no lawsuits were filed back then.

Huffington Post has the best article about it:

Our story starts in 1988, in the decade of greed.

Leonard Stern, a New York pet food mogul and real estate developer, decided to finance a series of documentaries about celebrity businessmen. He did a smart thing --for the first documentary, he chose Donald Trump, who was then riding his bestselling book "The Art of the Deal" and beloved by the media.

I was called in to write the piece after the filmmakers shot the footage. It was easy work, because they had remarkable stuff: Donald working with the mob in Atlantic City, intimidating tenants, hiring illegal immigrant labor, verbally assaulting his family and underlings, trying to move a Florida airport because jets flew directly over his home... the list goes on and on.

Perhaps most interesting from a political point of view, the filmmakers revealed Trump to be the opposite of a small-government conservative. He got his start with his father's money and political connections, and he made money the same way his father did: on the backs of taxpayers.

But most upsetting to Trump was the film's revelation that he hadn't made as much money as he said he had. The producers were among the first to show that his financial empire was built on braggadocio... as recent reports show it to be to this day.

The revelations about Donald never seemed to end. There was so much for the filmmakers to learn about Trump --- his exaggerations, distortions, near-criminal behavior and, most of all, his deepening financial disaster --- that the documentary was three years in the making.

"Trump: What's the Deal?" was never shown on television. Donald Trump went after Leonard Stern --- in a big way. Lawyer's letters. Threats of lawsuits. Personal attacks.

Stern decided he didn't need the trouble and canceled the series. The producers finished the film. But no broadcaster would touch it. Trump had done his work.

Now a new website went up, where the full documentary can be viewed for free.

This website, and also a new facebook page about the documentary provides even more background details:

This film was suppressed 25 years ago.

July 2015 and Trump is running for president....So it's time this exclusive content comes out for the first time.

Why was the film never distributed before now?

The film was commissioned in 1988 by Leonard Stern as the first of a series on celebrity businessmen and finished in 1991. Back then, the only way for a film to be seen was on television or in the theater. Donald threatened to sue any broadcaster or distributor that took on the film. In effect, it was suppressed. It was screened twice in back-to-back standing room only showings at the Bridgehampton Community House on July 3, 1991, the same day that Donald announced his engagement Marla Maples.

Why it's important and why we should care now.

Now that Trump is running for president, it is time for the American People to meet the real Donald and learn how he does business. The old Trump and the new Trump?

They're the same Trump.

A context about the 80's and the beginning of the "me generation" of billionaires.

The 80s was the first modern "decade of greed". Donald Trump was the most visible of a handful of businessmen who became celebrities, a trend that has continued to this day.

What's happened with Trump since?

Since the completion of the film, Trump’s Atlantic City Empire is gone --- sunk into bankruptcy, and he is best known as the star of "The Apprentice," for building golf courses and slapping his name on buildings that others build and acting a superstar real estate agent. Oh, and he is still trying to move the Palm Beach airport.

Well, what happens to him right now is that he has a real chance to win the Republican nomination.

Many from the Republican base, people who have been brainwashed by Fox News for many years (as can be seen in the classic documentary "Outfoxed"), now view Donald Trump as their hero and savior. This is almost unbelievable, and it is also very dangerous. If being a disgusting loudmouth is enough these days to win the hearts and minds of these people, then virtually anyone could win the Republican nomination, however outrageous this person might be.

Therefore this documentary needs to be seen, and needs to be spread far and wide.

The documentary can watched for example on the new website for the film, but I also embedded it for easier viewing:

The direct link to the video can be found here.

On the website about the film, old newspapers old articles about the documentary have also been published.

Let's hope that this documentary will get a lot of attention.

Please share this post in order to spread the word.

It's time to show the world the real Donald Trump.
